Get Started

Our Tutoring Sessions:

  • Last for one hour (unless you email/call us to request a longer session).
  • Use video conferencing.
  • Are recorded so that you can access the whole session again afterwards.
  • Provide you with a full set of notes made during the session which are emailed to you at the end of each session.
  • Are tailored to meet your learning needs. Contact us before hand to chat about these so that we can ensure you get exactly what you want/need!
  • Can be one-on-one individual sessions or groups of 2-5 students. You decide which one you want!
  • Close for booking 24 hours prior to the start of each session.
  • Cost $65 per hour (unless a deal is being applied at checkout - see Pricing and/or Promotions).

Sign Up

To be able to book tutoring with us, you need to sign up and create a log in.
 
Head over to the Sign Up page. Once you have provided your details and have accepted the Terms & Conditions, you will be sent an activation link via email to confirm your email address. Once confirmed, you will be able to log in using your newly chosen username and password. NOTE: This whole process can be done by a parent/caregiver or the student to be tutored.

Book your session

Now that you can log in, check out the Book Tutoring page. From here, you can pick your tutoring session and pay to reserve your place.
 

Standard Sessions

Sessions are broken down into NCEA Level > Subject > Standard. On booking we ask you which topic(s) you'd prefer to cover under the chosen NCEA Standard and whether you want to be tutored individually or in a group. If you provide a group of 2-5 students then everyone gets a discount off their next session, see promotions page for more information.

Discount Code

These are sent out via email to everyone in the group at the conclusion of the first session. This discount code can be used when you next book any session within a month of receiving the code.

Request a Session

If an NCEA Subject or Standard isn't currently listed on our site, you can use the Request a Session form. You will be asked to choose a date and, from there, we will email you to see what we can offer you.

Session Time

Tutorial Link

Once a session is booked, an email will be sent out to all participants with a link to the session. This link will go live ten minutes before the session start time. Be sure to activate the link at this time so that you can check your connection and sound.

Tutorial Session

Now you will be able to hear and see your tutor via your computer, Apple Device or Android Tablet.

Tutorial Notes

After a session has ended, the tutor will email you the notes created in the session and, if applicable, a discount code.
